couple of things which really really confuses me.......
i know a guy who is gay, but youd never notice, he about twice the size of me and could knock me out with just a glare! but he is with a guy who is so camp he looks and dresses and sounds like a woman...... why doesnt he just find himself a woman?
and another question
whats the name of a guy who goes for tg's?..... gay?
and one more
why do guys go for guys that dress like women? why dont they go for women? (i spose this is kind of like my first question)
i dont know if not knowing the answers to these questions is the ignorance of being straight or not.
hope this isnt insulting anyone, im not trying to lable people "gay" or anything like that, im just a bit confused. :-\

It's just all proof that you can't pigeon hole human sexuality with just a couple of labels. There's someone for everyone, as long as it makes both happy, who cares what it's called.
You could always call them by their first name

Uhm, it sounds like he did. She happens to be a TS woman.

Gay guys like guys. They are males who are androphilic. From what I hear, his girlfriend is feminine. Both of them seem straight to me.

To each their own. Live and let live. But it seems here that his girlfriend is TS--a woman, not a guy that dresses like a woman. Please never call a TS woman a "guy" or "he." It is hurtful, 'K?
As for guys who go for guys (however they may dress), what is wrong with that? Some people like blondes, other brunettes. Variety is the spice of life and everyone is different.

Confused is OK. But on this board, please be tolerant of others--be they gay straight, TS, eunuch, or whatever.
Love,
Kelly, deeply hurt

It sounds as if you do not approve of her. You call her "camp" and a "he." I am offended.

Is his girlfriend a guy or TS/TG? If TS/TG, then you are being horribly mean by calling his girlfriend a "guy."
Confused is OK. Insulting others is not, at least not in this forum. I do understand that presently, homophobia and hating gender minorities in general is popular in the USA. But many people are still trying to

In general, I find women are more tolerant of these issues than men.
For me own part -- in what I've seen and heard(overheard) -- in the people around me I've found females (genetic) to be just as narrow minded (in general that is!). Just as hooked on gender roles, what they imply and not being very acceptable or understanding of others who doesn't follow or wish for the same roles.
Which have always seemed strange to me, for some reason I would have thought differently, feels as though women should know better.
But belonging to one "gender" I hope doesn't necessarily mean that one subscribes to a predetermined specific way of thinking just because of gender, which I guess many around here would be willing to testify to(!?). So the roles and everything that one individual is susceptible to will just as easily find it's way into the mindset of an individal 'belonging' to either gender.
But perhaps I've just been around the worst of the worst(as in not general at all) and gotten a skewed view from it, I wonder (?).

O.K. Wannabe! Here go'es,the reason that you have upset us so much is because you,
and whomever made this section lumps Gay,Bi and Transgender together. This in itself is insulting and demeaning.I can only speak from my own feelings being a Transgender Women. It seams that what your talking about is sexual preferences which has absolutely nothing to do with being Transgender. We are Gender Disphoric,Feel that we are in the wrong body. Many Transgender persons have never had sexual relationships because of feeling so misplaced.Even after srs, they may still feel confused about sex.
When testosterone is not running your life as is with most males,it is a different world.Sex is an accessory, take it or leave it.Many Transexual women after surgery,HRT,Facial surgery,Voice surgery, neck surgery ,beard removal. Then to have someone compare all of that to a sexual preference is devastating and insulting.Extremely hurtful and that's why your post has not been addressed properly.
This section should not be lumped in with a persons sexual preference. It's not what's between our legs but what's between our ears.I am married and not the least bit interested in a sex act.Chick's with Dick's, Trannie's and the like is not what a Transgender person would ever referr to ourselves as.These references are derived from X rated sex films designed to excite and titalate. Your Post is like somebody telling you "Oh ,your single mother is living with a fella and he brought some groceries by so your mom must be a prostitute." Maybe she is not even having sex with this person, just being nice.Giving somebody down on there luck a place to live. This Is why we are upset, EA is a place that we feel we can come and at least feel accepted. We can talk about very personal issues here.Read our Post's and maybe you will learn something about Transgendered individuals. Please respect us, the rest of society odviously do'es not.Hugs ,Leona Lee

I don't have a problem with the initial post.
The "gay men who want to dress up as women but not BE a woman" thing confuses me too.
And I'm gay.
Huh???
hehe

Good grief, did you read my post? I'm talking about myself and the Transgengered girls on this site. You lumped transgender and gay folk's together. It is the transgender women that you have insulted. If you still can't see that I give up.Leona Lee P.S. Don't call us guy's.Got it?
