This community blesses me. Except for my Catholic Questions Yahoo Group, you folks seem to be the people who best tolerate me. Your tolerance delights me.
Being celibate surprised me. Nothing my early life predisposed me to believe celibacy would define my mode of living. Certainly, advantages do come with this life--they come along with losses, some of which still grieve me. You folks help me grasp and embrace the boon in celibacy and accept with some serenity the losses that also come from it.
