Old age and kidney problems finally caught up with her. She was the sweetest cat a eunuch could ever want. She is now in the care of my Goddess (as I understand her).

Sorry to hear you have lost such a wonderful friend. It sounds like she really stuck in there as long as she could. Friends like that are rare indeed.

Czarina seemed to be, from her pic, and from your descriptions, a nice cat, and her occasional moods would, I'd guess, have been caused by the kidney trouble. My condolences on her passing. Has Hestia (who, if I recall correctly, was renamed by her later owner) outlived Czarina?

My sincerest condolences. To those whom they own, a cat is as much family as a blood relative. There is nothing to say except this: go and love some more.

Andrew,
My deepest sympathies. Losing a pet is never easy.
I cried for days when my rat, Vivienne, died. She went out with a massive heart attack, with a frosted mini wheat clutched to her little breast...
I hope Czarina went out comfortably.

How old was she? I lost a cat a few years ago that was almost 20 years old. I still miss him.
