😿 guys ive had this rash appear on my left ear :( it appeared last wednesday, my left ear swelled up, went red and the skin seems to have gone strange, it itches like hell and hurts a bit when i prod it. i noticed my other ear was slighly ichy too but thought nothing of it. well now left ear has gone down a bit (not to normal but not really noticable) and im left with this strange rash, my other ear swelled and has the same thing now and so does my forehead and the back of my neck (but i never noticed any swelling on them, the rash looks different, the skin isnt really funny like the ears its more tiny tiny spots)!!!! whats going on???

my arms keep itching like mad but my ears are driving me crazy!!! i keep trying not to touch them.

even though the swelling isnt noticable i still feel like im a dickhead. :dong:

ive tryed allergy tablets and moisturizers and nothing is working.

im worryed that if i wake up in the morning its gonna be everywhere!

can someone please try to find out what it might be cause ive looked and found nothing :(

Sounds like an oddball allergic reaction to something.

I had much the same thing, only with hives about half an hour later, after eating a spicey chicken sandwich from Wendy's.

Take a dose of Benadryl and douse it in Lanacaine. That should do it.

BUT at the first sign of weird heartbeat/breathing problems, get to an ER fast.

Have you been exposed to anything lately, that's different or out of the ordinary?

The best advice for any condition of unknown cause which persists is to see a Doctor. There are so many things that can cause a reaction of the type you describe that it is pointless to try diagnosing it your self. The issue really is that if it isn't going away on its own you need to treat it and that is why you need to see the doctor. If its not life threatening then not only will you gain peace of mind but you will get the best relief. If on the other hand it was something serious then you would be doing the right thing by getting it treated.

Take care,

Jema

well i took your advice and went to the doctor, (im going to try paolo's benadryl tomorrow) i saw a nurse there and she took one look at me and basically told me she didnt know what it is. She told me to use Hydrocortisone Cream (even though i told her the anti-hestimeans ive been taking which didnt work have that kind of thing in it)

i was right about it spreading after i woken up, today when i woke up my eyes were swollen (which have gone down now) and its all under my eyes and working towards my cheeks :( . i asked the nurse if it was on the skin or in my blood what with my arms and elbows itching and all, and she was addiment it was on my skin, i said well what about the swelling? she basically told me she didnt know!

you see uk doctors compared to us doctors..... there is no comparrison, uk doctors just dont care! national health is why our nation is so un-healthy!

so ive tryed this cream she told me to buy and it seems to have made my face.... sweaty, and the rash worse! (its a bit hard to tell at the moment because this rash seems to be worse at night anyway!! ---- what the hell is it?!?! :( )

the job i work in is sales, so i guess i could jave caught it from anyone... thats if it is from someone, im not sure it is because none of my family have it, i think its an allergic reaction to..... SOMETHING..... but what? i have use /done nothing different, and its strange that it should just suddenly start at 3:00pm at work when i was just sitting there!..... and if its an allergic reaction should it last this long? and spread?

i checked my temperature this morning and it was normal 96.8, i have no headache, i feel real drowsy (i do normally anyway) but this is just something else i dont need :( im parranoid about the way i look to other people as it is!

anyway we will soon see what monster is going to look back from the mirror at me in the morning!....... 🤾

This does sound like an allergic reaction to something. It could be as simple as a food allergy, shampoo, or tooth paste. It could also be enviromental. Is anyone doing any remodeling nearby, or indroduced a new flower/plant in the office?

I have found I get some minor skin reactions to some hair products.

well they have just built an extention on their house next door. As for work, the air-con unit drives everyone insaine as i work in a super-store (it was blowing out heat through the summer and now its winter its blowing out cool air!!) they are doing general work around the building itself.

woken up thismorning and my ears seem to be a bit better, they are not as itchy and theyve been left with dry skin on them (sorry if this is makin anyone feel sick 🤮 :D ) the main area of the rash is now across my forehead, under my eyes is REALLY red and gowing onto my cheeks and my forearms and elbows still itch like crazy.

because the skin feels really really sensative where the rash is, when i have a shower the water falling onto the rash areas (ears, head, cheeks, arms) feels amazing!!! :-\

anyways thats the "mysterious rash" update for this morning guys.... tune in this afternoon :)
