hi all,started taking the premarin I have stockpiled.

0.625mg once daily.I'll keep everyone posted on the results.I couldn't take the hot flashes no more.Side affects worry me more as I get paranoid with new drugs.

Twin, Hope the Premarin .625mgs works for you. I was on Premarin 1.25mgs until the Endo. Dr changed mine to Estradiol he said less side effects. Started low & built it up. Now taking 3mgs 2 times daily,so far thats the best,still have some flashes but not near as before.He also started me on a over the counter Hormone ballancer (Can get it through his office). Hasnt helped but did research & it should help prevent some Cancers,so that part I like. Good luck with your routine. dl

hi dl and flo,I stopped the premarin after two days due to the horrible stories

I read on it.I am going to try again to talk to my gp about a low dose of estradial also.I CAN'T SLEEP AT ALL ANYMORE.thanx-[twin]

Well bigtwin i will be the last person to try to talk you into going back on premarin.I just want to say one thing though and thats to take anything you are taking in low doses you never want to take large doses of anything .You want your body to get used to it and slowley increese the amount you are taking.
