im in uk and thinking of getting a new car, does anyone know the difference between the u.s honda prelude (1996) and the u.k honda prelude (1996) ? because i know the ford escorts are completly different,... but the preludes look the same? im only asking because there are some things i would like to buy for it, but it would need to be shipped for u.s to u.k, and im wondering if they would fit
this has nothing to do with this site...but....

I know a little about this type of situation, although in slightly different field (auto glass). VW's are notorious for changing the "fit" of the part depending upon the country of origin it was manufacuted in. Honda's, on the other hand, change slightly with the production dates. Even if the car is sold as a particular model year, the production date within that year may change and therefore change the fit of the part.
I couldn't tell you if the body parts would interchange, but assuming the glass parts are different, it would be logical that some of the body parts would be different too.
P.S. This post most likely should have been put in the cellar.
