It lets me go there, but not log in what am i doing wrong?

I have no idea, the chat server should work the same as it did in dialup.

Pkease check for overly broad IP bans ... it's easy to accidently ban a huge block of IPs that could block all or part of an ISPs addresses.

I am also blocked from the chat room (Sept. 20, 2004 9:15 AM EST). I get error message, "Website Not Responding".

I also want to strongly remind the operators to be careful when banning IP addresses. Using an example in the 192.168.1.x range:

Banning 192.168.1.* bans 254 IP addresses

Banning 192.168.*.* bans 64,516 IP addresses

Banning 192.*.*.* bans 16,387,064 IP addresses

I do not know what you mean IP address, you are talking with someone who has no tech knowledge, getting multiple degrees in education does not help you with this

I sent you all relevant information on September 20. I am still unable to connect with the chat room. Have you been able to find the problem?

I don't know exactly what the problem is, other than it has something to do with the web server on the chat server box. Any of the programs that run off of the Archive server proper should work fine.

Apric or any one that the url is like http://darkstar1.tzo.com ..... is appearantly down. I think this is a different issue that the other person who seems to be able to connect, but not log on.
