In case you didn't notice it, but you probably did, your signature picture is gone! Here's how to get it back:
Go to your profile. Look near the bottom in your options. The very last thing is AVATAR. AVATAR is a couthe word for PICTURE. Moreover, a PICTURE of YOU! You need to "change your avatar." Click that, wait a sec or two, and then you can upload your Avatar again.
Don't you just love that word?
Keep it below 30k, and somewhere around 150 pixels wide. Give or take a pixel or ten. Mine was maxed at 200x200, and that was TOO big. Yes, folks, it can be too big sometimes. Put it away, cut it down, do something!
Anyway, once you've found that, browse to the select file of your choice on your PC and upload. Believe me, it will yell at you if the file is too big!
If you need help, let me know.
:p

AVATAR: the descent of a Hindu deity in a visible form; incarnation.
Incidentally, do you know the old joke (which really requires a cockney accent)?
Q. Whats a Hindu?
A. Lays eggs!
I think that I had better log off before the PC brigade force me to commit Suttee!
LOL

The word "AVATAR" came with the software. I had to ask what it was, I'll admit it. Maybe an inside joke on the part of the programmer of vbulletin software.

Re: Re-upload your old pics!
I had trouble finding where the Avatar option was, because Paolo mentioned going to the profile and looking in your options, but after a long time I figured out that you don't use Edit Profile to change it. Instead, you:
1. Click the <user cp> button at the top of most pages.
2. Login, if required.
3. Click the <Edit Options> button (not <Edit Profile>).
I am probably the only person who needed that clarification, but for a while I wondered if what they said about going blind was really true and thought this might help.

OK. What if you did not have a pic in either your old pic or old signiature? How would you add one? I have some on my hard drive that I would like to upload here. Is that possible?!?!
