Its extremely interesting - whats typical reasons for castration?

Thats simple for me i was tired of the testosrerone and what it did to me.

you ask why people desire to be castrated. I will give you my own spin and I hope others give theirs as well. First, why do I desire to be a eunuch? I am transgendered and did at one point consider going the full sex reassignment route. Simple fact is that I do not pass and to be honest relatively few transsexual types pass to the extent of a natural woman. Some do, but many do not and anyone who does not pass virtually perfectly is relegated to a specialized role in society. Some transsexual types do not care that much. In any case, as a eunuch, I pass in ordinary life as a man, but can "be myself" in my private life. I care nothing about performing as a man in sex, for example.

Other eunuchs may not be transgendered, but prefer to live a life apart from the male role in sex. Some may be basically heterosexual, but still do not want to assume the male role. Others may be homosexual and there is an element of the gay community that is attracted to males either physically castrated or at least chemically castrated.

Generally speaking the people on this board are responsible and simply want to achieve the eunuch status in their life. I get very disturbed when I read posts from people who want to turn to alternatives that could be either very dangerous or even potentially fatal.

As I said, I hope others will also share their viewpoints.

In my case, I want to be castrated as my testicles are a sign of my body's maleness. I see myself as female and am currently trying to get started on the whole sex change process.

I have a couple reasons for wanting a Castration.

1. I have wnted to have a smooth groin since I was 8 years old. An

obsession that has only grown over the years.

2. I started hrt recently to find out what living without testosterone is like.

I have a history of a short and violent temper, something that I

personally hate... the hrt has reduced my testosterone and without it my

temper is gone. This is the primary reason for my wanting a castration.

3. I also have no interest in sex of any kind so why keep my genitals?

my reason was that i had to much sexdrive, could not think about anything else no more, just sex sex sex. at the end it became real sick(my thoughts).

i am glad thats gone now.

Hypersexuality. I started getting sexually aroused around age seven or eight. For much of my adult life it was manageable (gay men tend to live very high energy sex lives) but now I'm just tired of being horny all the time. As Marca pointed out, sexual fantasies can start to become very extreme; I think this is because of the very intense and constant sexual arousal.

Like others, I notice I have a sharp, easily triggered temper as well.

Anyway, I enjoyed the time I was on Androcur and am working out the right time to make this permanent. I've had very helpful discussions with Dr. Kimmel.
