I too know what you have been through with the medical community. Although I seek a different path than you, I have asked doctors if they would perform castration. Even with the backing of therapist's who would vouch for my reasons, it seems my plight fell on deaf ears in the medical circle. Doctors, it seems, think this is a taboo subject. They would more likely drag you through endless tests and different medicines, rather than listen to what the patient thinks is best for them. It may be a money game where the doctors stand to make more money by trying to treat you with drugs, let alone not caring that you are in pain, and letting you suffer throughout.

There is a doctor that many here have gone to and reccomend if you are serious about getting this done. The doctors name is Murray Kimmel and is in Philadelphia. Any of Andrew's posts will have his contact information.

You know rock12 i realey dont understand things eather but i guess i was just luckey because i found two doctors in the same hospital that were willing to help me.Just last week i seen my urologest that preformed my orchidectomy last month and he told me that after a man like myself has done his homework and knows what he wants he sees no harm in this operation.

So you see their are some doctors out their willing to help but i do know their arnt to many .So my reply to you would be to not give up and as Christina said Dr Kimmel is willing to do this operation if you cant find a doctor in your aeria that will help you.

My regular doctor was totally on board with my castration. But when I got an infection and was in the hospital for 4 days, he had a uroligist come by to see me, the man was rude at best, I told my doctor that the doctor he sent over was a jackass. I hope it got back to him.

I think we have all been through this with one doctor or another. but keep looking you will find the right one.

You have to try other Doctor's. There is a list of Kink freindly doctors on the WEB, or Check your local GAY paper for a GAY freindly doctor. Most of those doctors just maybe more understanding of your problem. You need to find a doctor that listen to you, even if you need to talk to a hundred before you find the one.

Sorry i didnt mention the doctors that looked down on me to at first but i didnt give up because i knew what i needed .I have thanked both doctors many times that were willing to help me with my problem because i know for every good doctor their is probley 25 other doctors that will look at you as a nut case or just look down on you but if the problem is as bad as you say dont give up my friend

Rock12---DON'T let the doc's adverse opinions stop you. You know yourself better than they do. There will be a way for you to get one of them to listen. Don't be discouraged,there are others here who have had their own trials and overcame them. Cordialy, FLO

Sounds like you might have epididimyts, an infection of the epididimus of the testicle. You need an antibiotic. Going on TRT will cause the testicles to shrink even if they are working but more than likely yours were not as the endo said. Get away from the shots and try to get gel or patches. You need something that gives a more even dose of T. Good luck, you are going to need it!
