Just started hrt over the weekend. Local health food store has competeing version of Evanesce in stock @ about the same levels as Evanesce. This one is loaded w/ Black Cohosh, plus it has Saw Palmetto & Duang Quai in it. I've been taking triple the recommended dosage on the bottle now for four days & I'm already noticing a small change. I was thinking about adding a little extra Black Cohosh & maybe Vitex.

Interesting note though... Had a meeting w/ my Christian counselor last night. This man has counseled me many, many times over the last several years & he has never given be bad advice. This guy is in his early fifties & has a very open mind and is one of those guys that you can just see the wisdom flowing out of him! Anyway, last night I told him that I was considering going the Depo Provera route & he told me that he had absoloutely no problem w/ meds if it will help. I'm hoping to meet w/ my doctor in the next day or two & discuss this w/ him. I was going to do it today, but he was out sick. Anyway, my doc & counselor are out of the same mold and both are very open minded! Been blessed to have these two on my team!

Don't get your hopes up for those herbal hormones. I won't say they do not work, but I will say thus far, they do not show me much. The Evanace folks up there in Colo ship promptly and charge reasonable prices. I do not knock them. As you point out, most of their stuff you can buy at Costco or the local supermarket for much less. Question, do they work? Some say yes and I hope your experience is positive.

Best way in my view to become a eunuch is to start thinking like one. If the herbs help in that regard, great. Don't expect miracles.

Hi Big i think Glenda is right when she says that they do work but it has been my experance you have to take a large amount to get the resalts you are looking for.Now everyone is diffrent and they might just work fine for you so please keep us informed and let us know if it is working for you

I can already see a little difference. I noticed my testicles don't seem swelled up any more (blue ball syndrome). Like I said... I did buy high quality herbal supplements from a very reputable local health food store. I just can't think I'd see the same results w/ stuff from Walgreens or Wally World! Also taking fairly high dose to start with. Hoping to see doc Friday or Monday.

Just got my Depo-Provera from http://www.globaldrug.tv. Had to show wife where to give shot but she did fine! Herbal hrt was working, but not real great. With Black Cohosh & Saw Palmetto I could tell a very noticeable difference, but it just wasn't enough. As with me being a BIG guy (6'2" & 350 lb.) I'll be curious to see if 150 mg once a month is enough.

I will say that being able to take a shot once a month or so has got to be a whole lot easier then trying to remember to take my herbies 3-4 times a day!

Also too, Global Drug (http://www.globaldrug.tv) got my order to me in eleven days and the depo provera did come preloaded in syringes w/ needles.

Yes thats the thing that botheres people you know that needle but no it is so small most of the time i didnt even know they had given me the shot good luck my friend

The only time that the shot even gave me some discomfort was about 20 minutes after I got my shot when I was standing at the fridge doing the guy thing (door open, mindless gaze) & our St. Bernard walks up behind me all excited thinking she was getting a treat wagging that 10 pound tale & smacked me in the but right where I'd got the shot about three times. Then I knew that I'd got a shot!

Oh yea, broke that mindless gaze too!

Being a big guy (350 lb. range) I was wondering if just one shot would do much. After two weeks, I could tell a difference, but not as much as I would of liked so I took a second depo shot. Wow! What a difference! Now we're getting somewhere!

Starting to notice that I am now thinking of a lot of other things besides just sex. I think my wife is starting to notice the changes too. If I don't take Viagra first, I can pretty much write off an erection. On the flip side of that now is not walking around with a big boner all the time!

Hot flashes not as bad as what I've heard some say they could be, but they still suck. My Premarin should be here in next couple of days form
