This question may sound pretty dumb, but has anyone asked if Kimmel has a payment plan? Or a reduced rate for those on a lower income. It's fairly important to have this surgery soon, however the cost dictate that I won't be able to for a while.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Seems as though there are some nice people on this board. I probably will call, just figured I'd throw it out there before I did if someone already had asked.

Hello Tainted,

I may have seen or heard something about Kimmel offering a reduce rate for low income persons. As for how much and what his policies are reguarding this, you'd have to contact him directly. Normally he requires a $750 deposit with the balance due at the time of surgery.

Or you can set up your own payment plan. Put the cash aside and when you have enough saved up, make your appointment. Just put aside the amount each pay day that you would if you were making a payment.

If you're patient, you get the same result (your castration) and do not end up paying any interest on borrowed money.

Just a thought.

Thats basically what I'm doing unfortunatly it will be quite some time before that amount is accrued. I would gladly pay the interest if a loan was available for such a procedure. Unfortunatly I have very bad credit, and no ability to gather several thousand dollars on my own at the time.

Most private surgeons can refer you to third-party financing. Do you think all those young women pay for their boob jobs with cash?
