There are a bunch of elastrator/banding pictures on BME, please get yourself a membership. Having other people steal and send photos to you not only hurts BME but also hurts this site as BME sponsers this site.

If you are looking for an elastrator you can try www.enasco.com and www.chaseunion.com to order them.

Using elastrator to castrate yourself is not a good idea, from the people I have talked to 99.5% who have used the elastrator method have ended up in the hospital because of complications and problems.

That said elastrator can be a good toy for CBT, although keep the bands on for less then 30 minutes to prevent problems. Also go out and buy a pair of cat/dog nail clippers which look like a special pair of scissors.

The problem is actually having the bands stay in place, many people I have talked to said once they cut the testicles & scrotum off the bands slipped off.

I definitely recommend going to a Doctor to have them properly removed. If you don't want to do that method either find a qualified cutter, or have someone you trust on hand for the banding and removal. At least that way they can call 911 or take you to the hospital which is most likely going to happen.

Yes the problem is that the rings might slip which is why you should have at least three in place above the cut. I have heard that supergluing the rings in the first place is quite effective and helps to stop them slipping off. Also if the wound is cautherised with the knife that should seal it effectively. It does go without saying that a Doctor should do it (only in an ideal world!) AND never do it on your own- EVER!
