Hello everyone,

It was five years ago today that Dr. Spector performed my castration. Not only have the last five years felt a lot more comfortable, but it has been an interesting five years. The latter two years has seen my transformation and transition to what I should have been, and all I lack now is SRS.

I want to express my appreciation to the eunuch community, which has always been very understanding of me even at times when the TS community was not.

Thank you Andrew.

Meanwhile, my progress continues and I am beginning to take steps toward getting the two therapist letters necessary for my final SRS. I think it is fitting that on this day, I first made phone

contact with a therapist in my area. He didn't have immediate

access to his appointment book (a receptionist directed me to call

his cell phone number while he was running an errand), so he asked

me to call back tomorrow so I could set my first appointment, and

also to forward a summary about myself and my progress to date in an

E-Mail.

He indicated that he would like to have several sessions at first to

get to know me, and also to administer some tests (like MMPI?), and

then only very occasional appointments would be necessary until it

was time to set up my surgery and send the SRS letters, around which

time he could refer me to the second therapist.

So now five years after I took my first step, I am beginning to

prepare for the final step, although it will be another two to four

years before I can make that last step.

Congratulations on half of a decade without poison and without being (yuck) an intact "male."

It hardly seems that long ago, but it sure has been. Wow. You have helped quite a number of people with your information on him and on castration in genderal. I believe that you were a positive influence on me when I first contacted Spector and then finally had my own procedure by him in 2001.

I wish you the best in having SRS soon.

Sorry that the TS community has not always been so understanding. Regarding this community, I have felt very welcome ever since the week that I visited Spector and became an official member of this group.

Thanks bunches for all of your efforts and work for us all.

Hugs,

Kelly :)

Congratulations Sherry,

The information you gave me has help to realise that castration was a viable option for me in my transition. Besides helping me, I'm sure it has been a great source for help to our sisters as well. Your strenght and courage, has no doubt, help me in many ways in my quest.

I wish you all the best in your endevours and for a safe and speedy recovery of your future surgery.

Big Hugs 🤗
