Using laser to zap leydig cells, it kills the cells responsible for testosterone synthesis. However, since seminiferous tubules are intact, sperm making is not affected.
How likely is this going to work?

i´m not a doctor, but i think this article is an april joke.
Laser works on a surface, not in the deep of a material. You can cut steel, plastics or skin with a laser. You can abrase old and dead cells an the skin with a laser. Hair Removement with Laser works only with dark hair very well and the laser-light has direct nearly direct Access to the hari-cells.
The laser can´t access the cells in the testicle through the skin and muscles of the scrotum. If you want to reach and damage those cells without cutting them free, you have to use microwaves or Röntgen-light.
