Since I'm a very enthusiastic and excited new member (just joined today) I thought I'd introduce myself. (Deutschsprachige Forum-Mitglieder: ich kann Deutch).

My handle is "Strassenbahn"; that means "streetcar" ("trolley") in German, and reflects my interest in electric traction and my happy years living in that country.

I've wished my whole life that I had been born female, and this naturally causes me to dislike my male genitals, which i regularly hurt in a limited way -- I'll be seeking advice on injections, etc. so on. As a result of my desire to be a woman, I fantasize about penis amputation and castration (at the hands of a woman). Knowing the power of Google, on a whim I typed in "castration fantasies" and voilà! Here I was at this marvellous site.

It really is a marvelous site, as far as I can tell from having gone through half the pages on this general-subject page. What is marvelous is the sense of community among the castration-oriented, whether they have "gone all the way" or are just wannabe's as I am -- so far! -- myself.

I look forward to contributing stories -- I tried to contribute one on a U.S. president who has his penis amputated, but there was a problem with my logon at the time, so I guess it's been lost -- as well as comment on threads. In this regard, I hope one of my postings today doesn't offend. In it I expressed the fantasy that in an future world the option of pre-puberty castration would be discussed in school sex-ed courses and by parents with their sons. I let my fantasy run away with me. Naturally I totally reject any kind of sexual activity involving minors.

Anyway, I think I'm going to stop writing this so I can get back to reading the remaining wonderful entries on this subject that brings us together in this wonderful pro-castration family! Regards, Strassenbahn

If they had taught us about such things before puberty when I was young I would have sought castration inorder to prevent the unwanted developments caused by testosterone. Doctors are far too reluctant to perform castrations, penectomies and srs surgeries on men. Their freudian views of the male genitals are outdated.

Mac, Great to meet a fellow hater of his male genitals though it looks like you solved your problem! Wow! Your crotch looks as feminine as that of the GG whose hand you're holding, and I hope you'll take that as the high compliment it's meant as. I really look forward to using exchanges of postings with you and the other members of this wonderful pro-castration/penictomy family I've just joined ro explore the whole question of eventually going from castration/penis-amputation fantasy to reality. As Andrew so beautifully puts it in his essay "Is Castration Right for You"? the destruction of one's male genitals -- loathed though they are in my case -- is a step that requires careful self-analysis. As for your point about how far too many doctors are reluctant to perform this surgery, I of course agree, but think there's hope for the future: look how many things in the area of human sexuality that were reviled by society a decade ago that are now mainstream or fast approaching it (e.g. gay marriage.) It is possible within our lifetimes a man will be able to go to a castration clinic to get his "jewels" (bitter sarcasm) removed on request with no more fuss than a woman goes through when she visits an abortion clinic. In such a possible future world, castration will be an option men will not be afraid to raise with their wives, or discuss with other men. We're not there yet, though, but we can dream, can't we? Keep up the good fight!

Many thanks for your welcome. In just two days, Eunuch Archives has really become family to me. I'm going to post a story today ("Exchange of E-Mails") and others will follow, as well as frequent postings both original and in reply to other castration-minded friends. Incidentally, although I lived in Germany for six years -- I was twice posted to the U.S. Embassy in Bonn -- I am now back in the States

You are new here so you are not aware that the picture in my avatar is not me and my wife. Would be nice if it was.

The medical community will not change in time to benefit me. They have always had a dual standard when it comes to surgeries for women and men. My wife had to sign giving her consent for me to have a vasectomy but I did not have to concur for her to have either an abortion or a hysterectomy.

Having just read your e-mail about your interest in a trassexual operation, I would like to advise you there are not thousands of eunuchs in Thailand as I originally thought, but as advised recently by cloe my transsexual friends here "millions". This could be hard to believe as 20 years ago they were not so obvious & looked down upon by the general public; however no more; (I guess many families have one) but are to be seen everywhere & working in clubs as go-go girls where are hardly any different than born girls, if at all.

My advise to you is that if you want a sex change come to Thailand where several hospitals are busy taking care of all types of cross gender operations from simple castration to the complete job including making a clitorus (perfect).

The castration needs one days notice as an outpatient & costs US$500.oo for the 15 minute operation (no pain) with 2 hours observation before leaving for home, & all that is required otherwise is that the patient sign a document obsolving the hospital of any responsability for having the operation performed. The complete transexual operation costs about US$3,000.oo & takes about 4 hours with a stay of several days in hospital. Also the building of silicon breasts for US$1,500.oo that look absolutely perfect.

From what I know I would recommend Bumrungrad Hospital (rated officially world class), address: Soi 1, Sukhumvit Road, near Nana Hotel, Bangkok.
