I just finally got my Karma points up to a respectable level... and have been handing them out like candy on Halloween. Please keep them!

Oh my God, what have I done?
Seems I picked a quarrel concerning the Karmas.
Sorry, this has been not my intention.
Because the poll has been started by a comment of mine, I will not vote, and keep neutral.

Is it possible to modify the Karma System to allow just "Positive Karma", and not "Negative Karma"? Negative Karma hurts people and the purpose of this board is positive support for everybody. I like to give out "Positive Karma" but the system is sometimes abused as a vendetta.
We want this board to be a positive experience for everybody and "Negative Karma" defeats the main purpose of the board.

The last 10 days I recieved 3 good Karmas and 2 bad Karmas.
I can live with that and I respect other peoples opinions even though these came from a lower moral background.
Keep the Karma wether it be bad or good, that way we can reflect on our own comments.

I agree with you that if the Karma points are kept then it should be possible to give both good and bad Karma. But I actually voted to turn it off, because I just do not see any point in them. Equally, I do not see that they could do any harm either.
