You're in Miami, amid the chaos of a severe hurricane and flood. You're a CNN photographer, trying to capture the houses and people floating around you disappearing into the water. You see a man, close by, fighting for his life, trying not to be swept away. The man looks familiar, somehow, and important. Suddenly you know who it is; it's George W. Bush. And the raging waters are about to take him away, forever.

You have two options:

You can save him, or

You can take the best photo of your life.

You can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer Prize-winning photo. A photo displaying the death of a very powerful man...

I would save him if I could. The same goes for anybody.

Ilford HP5 400 speed BW film and an f-stop of f5.6...a rapid motor drive series to select the best shot from.

I voted for him, he was much better than the Democrat (sp). But it still was the choose of the lesser of two evils.

Actually, Gore received MORE votes than Bush in the nation-wide election. Bush was named the winner by the U.S. Supreme Court based on contested results in the state of Florida. Later evidence seems to indicate that Gore actually won the most votes in Florida and should be president.
