The Google Game - with directions!

I have been very stressed out lately, and I have decided that we need to unwind. Therefore I am introducing the Board at large to "The Google Game." Anyone may play. The game is played as follows:

First, you open a new browser window and go to http://www.google.com (http://www.google.com/) and then click on IMAGES. You are now ready to play.

The game starter, ME, starts the game with a sentence. The starting sentence is:

"Young eunuchs were favored by many of the Roman Emporers."

Pick a word from the sentence. The sample word is "eunuch". Run an image search on the word. I get to use the word "eunuch" as the example, but it may not be used in the very next post. This is not to say that it cannot be used again later on.

Now, using the IMG command, which is typed without spaces as '[ img ] the link of the picture you find [ / img ]' , you insert the link to the most interesting image you find for your word.

There's the image.

Now, the next player has to compose a sentence related to this image above. He must then, in his reply-post to THIS post, give us that new sentence and then find another image, but not one for "eunuch", and link that image as well. What he will be searching for is a word that he uses in his new sentence about the eunuch in the image just above.

For example, if he says "The eunuch is wearing a brown and gold tunic." He may search for and post an image that he finds by searching Google for the word "tunic." (Hehe...that rhymes! I'm so clever sometimes!)😄

The next player will then study that new image, compose another new sentence, and then do the same search. You'll be amazed at what comes up in an image search!

To get the link of the image you like, simply right click on it and hit PROPERTIES. This will give the www link to insert here.

Happy image searching!

There is only ONE restriction ... no blatant underage pornography! If in doubt, don't link to it! You are also not attaching images, you are linking to them. DO NOT try and save them to your hard drive and then attach them.

OK, let's try it:

"When brought before their Emperor, they were required to kneel, and beg the Emperor's favor."

I wrote a poem in highschool to that effect.

Did you ever see a eunuch in a tunic?

It's a very funny sight

By the side of a harem.

Did you ever hear a eunuch sing in Munich?

I never have,

But enter that seraglio I dare 'im!
