I've talked in the past about going back on anti-androgens like depo provera that I tried about 18 months ago, but I kept putting it off until now. I suffer from chronic sinusitis and usually have an infection going most of the time so my doctor recently put me on a long term dose of biaxin to clear things up. I had no idea how much better I was going to feel without my body fighting infection around the clock until a few days ago. The bad part was that I got my real sex drive back, I had no idea how overactive my libido really is. It's so bad I can't stand to go through each day with it, it's like i'm never satisfied and I can't relax. This was the last straw for me, so I ordered my first packet of Androcure from Healthworld Pharmacy just a little while ago. I'm starting on 100 mg a day for at least 10 days and then I'm going to drop down to 50 mg if possible and stay on it. If I can't tollerate this drug I'll go on Depo Provera shots every 2-4 weeks. I know I can tollerate Depo Provera very well and I liked the way it made me feel when I tried it in the past. The only problem with depo provera is I'm not sure I can get as strong as effects that I can with Androcure. Either way there is blessed relief in sight, THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!

I, too, am grateful for my shots. However, once every 4 weeks works for me just fine.

As for me also 4 weeks seems to work just fine for depo provera.And after starting premarin at 1.25 a day it is even slowed down even more

Hopefully androcure will work out ok. It seems to be a lot more effective than Depo Provera unless you get weekly shots.

DP works every 4 weeks, & it's cheaper, too.
