Health Exam Results...

Last week during my routine 6-month checkup, blood was drawn and today I received the results. First let me say, I have been without both testicles since October 1998. The left nut came out in 1993 followed by the right nut in 1998.

I have been on testosterone hormone injects every two weeks for the last 4 years. My mental health has stabilized and I feel great! I do some exercise at the moment, but have been very physical on my bicycle in the past. Just to be clear on the exercise routine, I was able to ride my bicycle from the Twin Cities to Chicago in 6 days for a total of 538 miles a couple of years ago when more fit than today.

The blood test results are as follows (as of Nov. 24, 2003):

---Blood component---------Norm--------Unit----My Result

Glucose-------------(70-115)------MG/DL----------86

Urea Nitrogen---------(7-25)------MG/DL----------11

Creatinine-----------(0.5-1.4)-----MG/DL---------1.2

BUN/CREAT---------(6.0-25.0)--------------------9.2

Sodium----------(135.0-146.0)----MEQ/L-------141.0

Potassium---------(3.5-5.3)------MEQ/L----------4.7

Chloride---------(95.0-108.0)----MEQ/L--------104.0

CO2 Content--------(20-32)-----MMOL/L----------26

Calcium, Total-----(8.6-10.3)-----MG/DL----------9.2

Protein Total-----(6.0-8.5)-------GM/DL----------7.8

Albumin Quant-----(3.2-5.0)-----GM/DL-----------4.3

Bilirubin, Total------(0-1.3)------MG/DL-----------0.8

AST, SGOT----------(0-42)--------U/L------------23

ALT, SGPT-----------(0-48)--------U/L------------29

ALK Phosphatase----(20-125)------U/L------------62

---------------

Free-FT4, Thyroxn(0.75-2.0) NG/DL 1.2

TSH (0.47-6.90) mIU/L 2.08

TESTOSTERONE NG/ML 10.0

Reference Range: TESTOSTERONE

---Adult Male------20 - 49 Years---2.70 - 11.94

------------------- 50 and Older---1.65 - 8.30

As you can see, with normal to little exercise lately, I have been able to maintain my blood chemistry.

My testosterone level is right on for my age (49), and all the other blood components or body chemicals are right in the normal range.

This is a point-in-time analysis of my blood chemistry for a male living without testicles and receiving Testosterone injections.

All those Eunuchs who frequent this board should be checking your body chemistry at least once a year and most should be monitoring twice a year.

Best of luck guys,

Robby

As a Eunuch not on Testosterone, I do get thorough checkups twice a year. My total testosterone is less then 5% of a normal male's level. I have thus developed quite a set of Eunuchoid features. My Physician is working with me to make sure I have a comfortable life. (And it IS comfortable. Love that Eunuch Calm.)

So what is the opposite of the Eunuch Calm? Running around constantly seeking sex? Being "on edge" all the time? Having a "temper"? All of the above? How would one "calm" a woman? My mother is very "on edge" and "grumpy" and she is post-menopausal. Maybe there is no hope for her? lol I really do want to know just what it is that testosterone does to a person. It would be neat to meet a eunuch actually- though I wonder if any of you live around where I do. (Detroit area).

I feel the eunuch calm but i also feel it has to do with other things that were going on with me such as anxiety and absessive compuliv behavier.I think when thies things are under controal a person has to feel better about life and himself. But i also know every one is diffrent and not every one will feel the same and thats why i promote chemical castration first

I love the mellow felling i have now
