surely the desire for it means that you dont like being male in first place, then after its done as then you are no longer male in true sense, the only other desire is is female. or at leastyour feelings must change, because your brain now lacks that vital male hormone, thechanges may be subconcious, but they will be there,it then becomes easier to to adapt one lifestyle. 3 cheers Andrew

Trixie,

I am not sure your sense of the desire and results of male castration is fully understood.

Most men I know, have been castrated for various reasons but that doesn't mean they dislike being male. I for example, would rather eat dog shit and die before I become a female. I am quite happy with my body the way it is and certainly like my life. Now on the other hand, there are guys who want to be female, for various reasons again, and that is perfectly fine.

My brain has changed since castration, I grant you that, but to say there is a subconsciousness to be female... read my statement above on that one.

To all females reading this post, I love the fact you are female. Our lord made you that way and for good reason. Without fertile soil, seeds go nowhere... As a human being, you deserve all the love and attention you desire and man or woman is here to bestow that upon you. Peace... be with you.

Trixie, please join in on conversation with castrated males to get a real life view on the affects this procedure has on men. Most won't tell you they want to be female and most will telll you a different story than the other.

Peace and love,

Well, this might be vaild if you adopt the either/or mentality....yin/yang...male or female, nothing in bewteen.

OPINION: My castration had nothing to do with my dislike of being male, just of my libido. I like being male. I like to pee standing up. I like my beard and moustache. And so on. I do not cross-dress, wear lipstick or high heels, or have any other feminine desires. There have been changes in my thinking and feelings, yes, but more a drift to something in between stereotyped male and female thinking. Or maybe the lack of it.

As Andrew has said YMMV and it did for me now i dont need to change my gender but i do feel diffrent without testosterone.I am more feminine now and that is just fine with me but i feel when we are castrated eather chemicaley or with surgery some changes have to take place or maby its just me.

I feel it has made me more aware of my transgender sisters here for we are both on the same path i just dont need to go along that path to the end
