After the cut

Hi,
I'm to be castrated on 17 November 2003, less than two weeks from today. I'm going to Philadelphia and I will become a eunuch under the knife of Dr. Kimmel, Dr Spector's associate. The procedure will involve castration and ?removal? or tightening of the scrotum at the same time.
I've been reading the great posts here and, while I'm absolutely looking forward to whatever changes take place as a eunuch, I get mixed feelings about what others have written about the recovery and complications. I plan on a couple to a few days hanging out at home, naked 24/hrs each day for air and assist in healing. ?A good plan?
My question(s) have to do with having both procedures done at the same time, i.e., will drainage be better? And I'm going to be off from my office job until the following Monday, most I've heard say that should be adequate. Opinions?
When I used to work Standardbred racehorses, we cut the colts when necessary. As I remember, we'd walk the colt the following day or two and then hook them up and jog them lightly to keep the wound draining and reduce swelling. We would then bring them in, give a bath, scrubbing the incision with surgical soap, and hose the area with cold water for about 15-30 minutes. Now, I'm not planning to run a mile, but would it be good to walk for the same reasons as the colt?
Any input would be appreciated. My email is boyz2sissies AT aol com if anyone would care to contact me personally.
Thanks,
eunuch michael, ready to enter service
