Dave, Your comment made me smile, though I try and forget about the experience but Salami was writing his observation as the Pilot not a passenger.

Dave,

Right after a first time pilot solos we would distract him/her and the other one would put the seat belt out of the door opposite the pilot and shut it and latch it.

As soon as they took off the belt would start beating against the fuselage and the wing and it would sound in the plane like the wing is coming off. You should see how quick somebody can turn the plane around and land.

Of course, we made sure that the FAA inspector was nowhere to be found unless, of course, they were in on it, too.

I know some nice flight schools, Dave. Wold ya like to learn to fly one of them things?
