How about a take on the horror film "The Ring."

Where guys watch a video and 7 days later, they are castrated.

The castrations could be random acts (like accidents, car crashes, gun shot) that are explained rationally. Or they could be a ghost that castrates the guys (like in the movie). If a girl watches the movie--nothing happens.

The story could follow a bunch of str8 guys from college or just graduated from high school. They go to a cabin with their girlfriends for some fun and sex. They watch the video (but not all at the same time, so the castrations don't happen at once.)

Then, 7 days later, they are each castrated in the order they watched the video. Perhaps one friend watched it a few days sooner. When he is neutered, the others would start to believe and become really scared. What will they do during their last days as men? Perhaps on of the guys is a virgin and desperately wants to have sex. Perhaps one guy goes to a sperm bank to make a deposit (just in case the legend is true), but will he make his deposit in time to beat the clock?

What other ideas can you guys come up with based on this concept?

Great idea! I've always thought about a ghost or Freddy Kruger type thing who castrates guys in their dreams, then when they wake up grabbing for their balls and finding only an empty sack. Having a small group of guys going through it together, and knowing ahead of time that their balls are doomed is a great element.

I really like this idea Jockey, very creative. It could be the group finds the video in the cabin they go to and have heard about the obscure "urban myth" of the castration video and decide to watch it. The video itself could show a castration, performed by someone who later has a supernatural hand in each of their castrations.

As the group tries desperate ways to avoid being castrated, it ironically speeds up the process. Like the guy going to the sperm clinic has an "accident" along the way or maybe sees the face of the cutter in one of the porn magazines they leave in the room. There could also be the virgin clause, as in the guy who is always teased for being a virgin seems to have escaped the curse and got with the girl he always wanted, only to later find out that he has unwittingly put himself under the spell once again!

Alternatively if you want to make it slightly more inclusive, then why not include the girls in the story too. Why not have them scared of losing their clits, etc. It sounds like the making of an interesting story.
