Actually, the most common figure I've seen bandied around has eunuchs living 10-15 years longer then intact males, from the effects of testosterone.
I wonder if Victor T. Cheney will be saying anything about this in his upcoming book?
And for the record, I feel great, and enjoy the Eunuch Calm. I have no NEED of orgasms, hard as that may be for some people to understand.

I would argue that quality of life is at least as important as its quantity. There are certainly very different definitions of what constitutes quality. Old Softee is arguing that erections and ejaculation are very important for his definition of quality. Andrew asserts that the eunuch calm is important for his. We should celebrate that both are finding ways to enhance their quality of life, though they are very different in what they are seeking.
This is one of the things I appreciate most about the Eunuch Archive - our mutual support, despite some of our tremendous differences.

Jesus is right. For the record, my long years with almost no desire were themselves rewarding and most probably, that phase will eventually return. I dont regret my loss of potency, but I enjoy its return for at least a bit.
