• What's that $@%ing word?

AAARRRGGGHHH! I'm trying to remember a word. Having aphasia doesn't help. What do you call something that makes hair fall out?

For some reason, "defoliant" is the only word I can think of, and I know that's not it. Thanks.

Depilatory

adjective, depilatory cream. Spell checked with MS Word, so it's probably wrong!
