Hi, Limpone here ;

I have known perhaps 30/35 Tv’s, and Pre-Op Ts’s, well enough to have discussed to sone degree, their Hopes, fears, and fantasy’s about being castrated. As I had expected, most Tv’s didn’t want it. Some did though, for cosmetic reasons.

They thought it would make them more fem, with softer body lines, and less hair. Several also said it would make "taping up" before getting "dressed" faster, easier, and less painful.

Most Ts’s said they were, or would be cut as the next stage in the change. One wanted to lose the cock, except for a small piece of the underside of the Glans which would become their Clit. Then have the balls put inside their body, and the sack be made into "pussy lips."

They did not want a Vagina, saying it was too much cutting, and never worked right anyway. The rest* either did not see themselves getting cut, as they liked being a guy with tits. In one case, s/he wanted to have the balls put inside their body, so it would make "taping up" before getting "dressed" faster, easier, and less painful. S/he also called herself a "TS, Shemale".

*I would tend to think of these people as Shemales, Not pre-op Ts. They however wished to be called pre-op Ts, or just Ts. That is their right, but some in both the Ts, and Shemale communities seem to dislike this practice.

I, too have known quite a number ot TS's, both pre- and post-op, as well as some TV's. Largely, TV's do not want castration. I agree.

Less body hair, yes. But we are painfully aware that castration can greatly reduce sexual ability. This may not play well with TV's. TS women, on the other hand, often greatly despise their male genitalia, because it is wrong. A lack of erections, which are nasty reminders of the wrong equipment, is often desired.

Recall that TV's and TS's are fundamentally quite different--TV's are men, M2F TS's are women.

Not just cut. SRS is a main goal. The other main goal is living full-time (for the rest of their lives) in the gender role that fits their self-identity.

This is very rare. We know that Meltzer allowed a patient to keep her testis inside, but he also gave her a normal vulva and vagina.

Naturally, the vast majority of TS women opt to have their testis removed during SRS if they still have them at the time because the testis produce testosterone, a very unwanted substance.

Regarding the 'sack be made into "pussy lips."' A better description is that the scrotal skin is made into the labia majora. Sometimes it is also used to line the vagina. Often, the labia minora are made from penile skin (penile skin is also used for vaginal lining). You are right about the glans, many clitoroplasty procedures use the glans for the clitoris.

We are talking about two different things. The vast majority of TS women do want a vagina. They want to be anatomically correct.

A guy with tits is not what you would ever call a TS woman, that is very insulting.

A "TS shemale" is an oxymoron. TS women are women, a shemale is by definition a male.

Thank you. Transsexuals find the term "shemale" highly offensive.

TV's, shemales, etc. seem to have a focus on sex, plus they are all male.

M2F Transsexualism, a.k.a. Gender Dysphoria or Gender Identity Disorder, is about gender, not sex.

Hugs,

Kelly :)

".... I would have to disagree on this point.

To many people, myself included, someone who has gone to the trouble to give themselves female breasts is more than just a TV. They have made permanent changes to their body towards becoming more female, and thus qualify as a TS, a trans-sexual, someone who is in the process of changing their sex. A TS can be someone on the way to sex change (however gradually), not just people who have already done it. And if they are a woman in their minds, then a TS Woman they are indeed.

It really depends less on the actual flesh-rearrangement than on the person's intent: are they growing tits to enhance their nightclub female-impersonator showbiz act, or are they actually taking steps to become more female in their day-to-day life? Do they consider themselves a woman inside? Do they live it 24-7 as a matter of course, or do they do it for sexual fetish?

These simplistic and unwieldy terms - CD, TV, TS, shemale, etc. - do not even come close to covering the complex web of attributes that are involved here, and there's really no reason in putting any stock in them, especially since no one seems to agree on the definitions anyway.
