NAthan has a cretive imagination, but he also has the writing talent to bring these things to life. You can see the people involved, what they look like, smell like, what they fear and feel and want. Great writer.

Yes, The Tables are an excellent Nathan series (my favorite story is 5): I always feel like a kid in a candy store when I see Nathan's name in the new stories posted. Nevertheless, I must say that my top Nathan world remains that of Ayzintion city.

Right! He makes Ayzintion real and exciting. It is hard to invent a whole city like that and make it work for so many people. I agree with yhour comment about the candy store.

I think of chocolate covered balls rolled in sugar and with chopped almonds . Great eating.
