BME Media Image releases

Just wandering 'round Googling the other night, and ran into a HUGE picture of me on one of Shannon's BMEzine pages intended for media use. It's scanned from one of the snapshots of me that Shannon has.

(I have no problem with him scanning and using the image - I was just surprised to find a 300DPI, printable scan of it on-line. 😎 )

Anyway, should anyone be interested in taking a look, I'm the naked nullo with the sunblock ... (snapshot taken by wife about 1994).

www.bmezine.com/media (http://www.bmezine.com/media/)

(Now I need to grab a copy of it - Shannon has the original. :) )

I so injoy going to your site and have found much comfort in reading your FAQ. I also appreciate the fact that you answer all of your e-mails.

Thanks!

That was 14 years ago. A lot has happened since then. The image is probably long gone.

I'd guess the image is less gone than it is just in the ether somewhere. The site still exists, but it is not what it once was and I rarely visit. After Shannon lost the site to the hostile takeover, the focus became more tattoos and piercings and less other modifications. At that point, I mostly left, I probably visit a couple times a year now. I had a measure of loyalty to Shannon and after what happened to him and the site he founded, I lost interest. It felt vindictive what happened to cause him lose the site.

That, and Shannon is sadly no longer with us. RIP.

All this said, the photo is likely still there, but you're going to need to wade through everything there to find it.

If I am not mistaken, I think that the Tom who is in the image has also died? Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I know he had other health issues.

Perhaps that's the reason he's disappeared. He was very instrumental in forming the mind of a young nullo (late 20's) I know and care for. Tom was the first image of a nullo he ran across online, and it was a lightning bolt for him to see that and it made him understand who he is and that it was what he needed to become.

I also remember that image quite well. It was probably the first time I discovered a nullo picture. That was somehow some kind of inspiration for me, but seemed to be completely unreachable when I was about in my mid 20's. Now that's almost 20 years ago...

Thanks. I noticed the thread date after posting. I did wade though a lot, but never found the picture. Is there are good resource for pictures? I am very interested in the aesthetics of becoming a Eunuch.
