I should like to add my own belated congratulations & best wishes to Jesus on the occasion of his 61st birthday.

The contributions he makes to the board are very substantial, in terms of both volume & intellectual content, & highly praiseworthy, not least in the public & private encouragement he gives to authors. Given that devourers of tales here are notoriously reluctant to comment about what they read, such feedback is enormously cheering for many of us, & a stimulus to keep writing!
