That may be your OPINION, but it is certainly not backed up by common usage or the dictionaries. I have a penis, but no testicles. Nonetheless, I am a EUNUCH, defined as a castrated male.

According to Webster's dictionary a Eunuch is a castrated man. Also according to Webster's dictionary, to castrate means to remove the testicles. Therefore a man with no testicles is a Eunuch.

I have been a Eunuch for three years so I think I know enough about being a Eunuch to accurately reply to your post. Until a few weeks ago I hadn't taken any HRT. Now I am on 5mg/day of Androderm because I have osteopenia. So far my sex drive has not returned and I hope it doesn't.

That would depend on the individuals involved.

I hope for your sake you get the fantasy of being a Eunuch separated from the reality of being a Eunuch before you do anything drastic. If you want sex then this probably is not the path for you. If you want to lose your sex drive and get osteopenia or osteoporosis then go for it.

It reflects usage rather than being a definitive compendium of words.

The meaning of "eunuch" or "eunuchos" or whatever has been different over time and cultures. In China, Westfolding would have been 100% correct. In some other cultures he probably would have been, also.

I tend to prefer (and that's all it is, a preference) the older definitions that had different words for castration and emasculation: Castrato and Eunucho. I don't get all excited about folks using "eunuch" for castrati, expecially since the latter seems less, uh, "elegant" to some, even though more descriptive.

Personally, even though modern usage has totally blurred the usage, I tend to like the differentiation offered by using different words for the different results.

In the mean time, Webster's is God's Word to some so ...

The problem with body fat is the combination of diet and lack of exercise.

Processed modern foods, not just fast foods, are loaded with complex carbohydrates and sugars. They may be fat free, but that doesn't help. As the Atkins diet states (and it's true, I know), when all those carbs and sugars hit a body that isn't that active, it turns into fat.

When I was teenager, and struggling with puberty that just wasn't working, I was about as round as I was tall. In the 6th grade, I wore 36" pants. The cure? Exercise - mowing the lawn, riding a bike, cutting wood, etc., and no sugars. No rooty vegetables. No soda. No bread. That left meat and leafy veggies. Over the summer, I lost like 50 pounds. (I still got the long arms and had a little pot belly that was hard to get rid of, though. God, the hell I took over that!)

The popular Atkins diet states basically the same thing about weight loss.

You also have to watch that calcium intake. Eunuchs are subject to brittle bones, you know. I found this out (being hypogonadic) by punching out my old truck and breaking my hand in the process! Some years before, I beat the windshield out of my Mustang Gt with my bare hands and didn't bat an eye over it.

As for the hard cock, well, it varies from person to person.

First off, the eunuch cannot build up the muscle mass of an intact male, true. He is like a woman in this respect. And like a lot of women, he can have respectable weight and muscles from a proper diet and exercise program. You should see my aerobics and yoga instructers.

As for not getting an erection without testosterone injection --- MAYBE. YMWV = Your Milage Will Vary. It will depend on age at castration, how long you have been castrated, how much testosterone and estrogen your adrenal glands are putting out, and other factors poorly understood.

In my case, as a modest example, I was castrated at age 56. Nowadays I can, if I want to, masturbate every couple of months, get a usefull erection, and have a dry orgasm. Nice, but not essential. And if I wanted to ignore sex altogether, I could do so without physical discomfort.
