There is definately some significant differences with ver 3. Some things from the old appear to be missing. What enhancements have you planned for the board software?

Right now this is the first beta release of vB3. It's a complete re-write of the ver. 2 code and includes a number of new features and enhancements.
THE STYLE (visual appearance) of vB3 is NOT final.
Once Jelsoft releases the new official vB3 style I will take a look at it, then decide from there whether to try to develp a style, purchase a style set (once vB3 stylesets make their way to the commercial scene) or whether the default ver 3 style is sufficient.

Bboy--
Have there been changes in this version that have prevented new stories and personals from being posted? It could just be that nobody has submitted anything, but I have not seen anything new in about 5 days.
Just wondering if it could be a glitch.
The new format has taken a bit of getting used to, but overall I think you and the others involved have done a good job.

There were a few days there with no submissions (write! write damn you!
) 
There are quite a few stories in the holding tank that have come in very recently, and are just waiting for Paolo's watchful eye to pass over them.

It's talula's fault that the personals are still broken -- basically I am blameless! heheh
Actually the personals are broken because of me upgrading vBulletin -- the new version authenticaes users slightly differently and that cause the registered submission, author stats, and personals to be broken.
I re-coded the author stats and registered submit; the personals are talula's baby so I have to wait on him to look at them. He has promised to do so, but he has also been very busy at work!

Hmmm... I return from a week's vacation to find a new board.... It will definitely take some getting used to, but so far I think it is an improvement. Thanks, Bboy.
Oh, and let me add to Krister's offer. We cannot possibly know there is a financial need if no one tells us, and I know it's been a while since I have contributed anything.

We appreciate you all very much we had a good response last time around, and things are going pretty well.
