I really appreciate those of you who take the time to post feedback for authors on stories, and I know for a fact that the authors really appreciate it to.

My one suggestion to people who start review threads:

Please consider pasting in a link to the story in the body of your review. That would really make it easy for a person to get from a review to the story itself without a ton of clicks.

I would only like to add that all might not know how to do that. Actually I didn't until you posted and I checked it out. If I may, I will share what I learned.

In Netscape (my version is 7):

Right click on the link to the story in question (in the New Story Index, Full index, or author index).

Left click on Copy Link Location.

In Internet Explorer (my version is 5):

Same thing: right click on the link to the story in one of the indices.

Left click on Copy Shortcut.

In both cases, go ahead and make your comment in the message board, then where you want the link to appear, place your mouse there, right click, then left click Paste.

Voila! (sorry, my French-Canadian heritage showing).

I know that 99% of the participants of this board can probably figure all that out with a minimum of effort, and to you I apologizie; but to the other 1 %, I hope this helps.

If you get an email regarding a story it is a good story. If there is a posting praising the story it is even better.

Should you get both a posting and an email you have won the Nobel Prize for the site.
