Yep, I'm on the mend. Thanks for all the well wishes. It really means alot to me.
I was out of the pain that put me into the hospital immediatly after surgery, but there was still quite a bit of pain involved because of the surgery.
Back at work now for a couple of weeks but still take it pretty tender. I guess the biggest problem is that for the most part I can't feel my left leg. The doc says that it is going to take some time for the feeling to come back but it is better than what I was going through. Just makes me walk wierd and I get tired pretty fast.

Thanks for the kind note. You’re clearly one of the rare “good people” of the world and I’m glad to hear that you’re on the mend. Take it easy. I’m still angling to be the one for the business trip to your area. Hope to be there in more than spirits (though I’ll certainly bring them too!).
