„h The idea that erotic longings can survive castration (or ¡§neutering¡¨). Picture the wanton teenage princess taunting the boy-eunuch, flaunting her sex, tormenting him with what he longs to do but never can (Cf the Neapolitan youth in ¡§Candide¡¨)

„h The idea that neutering makes a boy more beautiful.

Actually, it's a very common thread in the stories. Maybe not so much the pricking thing, but certainly the preadolescent issue.

At least, from the male standpoint, one can put himself 'into' the story in place of the character.

As for women, well, anyone else have any ideas?
