Scientists have grown ova from stem cells, mouse stem cells, but the breakthough is serious. It looks good for making sperm from stem cells too. The sex of the cell donner doesn't matter. Thus in about twenty years a woman who has lost her ovaries and a man who has lost his testicals, could have children that were genetically theirs. Two people of the same sex, birth or otherwise, could also produce children as well. Heck, two nullos could have their own kids!
This is cutting edge stuff, and primate genetics might be trickier than thought, but the world has changed!
