HRT has restored a sense of physical well-being. It has not restored sexual functioning. It has restored some libido or desire.

In a month, I enter my eleventh year of celibacy. I don't know that I really want to celebrate.

For me, it's strange to feel outside the realm of sexual intimacy. I doubt that I could function within a sexual relationship.

Even as an old man, my father--I think--missed being sexual. I understand his feelings. I intensely miss enjoying sexual bliss and the bonds that hold one to another.
