Wouldn't that then be "perfect love"--indeed, platonic love? Just an idea I had. Maybe our society isn't ready for it, or maybe our brains are too wired for sensory pleausre. But have you seen it?

It should be remembered that some eunuchs can remain sexually active after castration. They will not be able to perform as frequently as they did before castration, but they can perform. YMWV, of course, but the younger you are when castrated, the more likely you can remain sexually active (if you choose to). At least for awhile. Total impotence might set in sooner or later, but the time line for even that is quite variable with the individual.

Andrew is absolutley correct. Many eunuchs are sexually active. My bf and I are extremely active sexually, both inside and outside of the relationship. While my bf still has balls, he's receiving testosterone supplements from his doc. He's as dependent on testosterone supplements as I am w/o balls.

Just a footnote that the eunuchs I was referring to, active after castration, would not be on HRT. Of course, HRT would help, as it seems to do in your case, but some euncuhs WITHOUT testosterone replacement still have a sex life, if somewhat reduced.

appears to be only part of the picture for sexual activity. Even though I feel much better after taking testosterone shots than before taking them, I remain about as sexually inactive as before taking them. I presume age, other medications, and heaven knows what else play into the matter. Still, I'm happy to be alive and able to enjoy the vast landscape of daily encounters.

On the otherhand, I do miss the intimacy of sexuality and the intensity of life enjoyed with another human being we celebrate in sexual relations.

Well if they were heterosexual before, then you would assume there wouldn't be any sparks after castration. So you've never heard of it? To Pearly's pet, I guess you were heterosexual and now live alone? I guess it's pretty hard to look for other eunuchs to date (like gays' problem times 256).

Yes, I was heterosexual. Was. But I've lived alone most of my life, and find it comfortable, and really do not see much point in "dating", eunuchs or otherwise. I get plenty of support and friendship from the members of The Eunuch Archives, eunuchs AND otherwise, so feel no motivation to do face-to-face dating.
