On a propaganda tour through the US president George

Bush visits a school and there explains his governments

policies to the pupils. Finally, he tells the childs to

ask questions.

Little Bob is the first one to speak up:

Mr. President, I've got three questions:

1. How comes you are president, when the other one got

more votes on him?

2. Why do you want to attack Irak without a reason?

3. Don't you think that the bomb on Hiroshima was the

worst terrorist attack of all times?

This very moment the break- bell rings out and all the

pupils run out of the class room. When they return the

question hour is resumed and this time Joey says:

Mr. President, I've got five questions:

1. How comes you are president, when the other one got

more votes on him?

2. Why do you want to attack Irak without a reason?

3. Don't you think that the bomb on Hiroshima was the

worst terrorist attack of all times?

4. Why was the break- bell 20 minutes early?

5. Where is Bob???

Hiroshima and Nagasaki did not kill nearly as many as the WWII incinerary bombings that burned Toyko and Dresden.

The atomic bombings saved more lives than they took. If we had

invaded the Japanese Island millions would have been killed on both sides with the loss of Japanese civilian life being much more than was killed in both atom bomb attacks.

Atom bombs are bad, but I'd much rather be vaporized than burned to death.

But it doesn't make it right, no matter how you cut it.

The bottom line is that there is no way to wage a pretty war that is either "fair" or "right".

Gus, We should have stopped with Afghanistan. That was plenty.

After having discussed "Afghanistan" with you before and having been getting a little nearer in understanding you american patriotic *#~\+ (;)) I'm nearly a little astonished at how moderate-viewed you now face this new war.

Positivly asonished. :D

I can understand a, let-me-say "american" position, "There has been done enough, now it's time." wich is only a more negative expression of "Something has to be done soon." Saddam is a constant threat.

It's funny that now if I, after having talked to YOU, confront somebody HERE with that point of view, they don't really know how to respond... 🀷

Many are so anti-war or even anti-american-war, they really don't exactly know why.

What is bothering me is not the war itself this time.

Politically it should really be a quite promising situation:

We have this USA that just can't wait to blow and we have only a few but respected nations to tell saddam to better cooperate because they really cannot hold back those cowboys much longer.

It's real pressure. It's true.

But now:

Those european politicians, just like all politicians, have interests not morals!

So have the US's ones and so has Saddam.

If that what we can see was all there is, the situation would be complicated at least.

(For all participants:

Even Saddam cannot do whatever he likes, especially not giving in to the USA.

The Iraq leader will not walk out of office... 😲)

So that's politics and if that was all there was, ok.

If it meant war, ok.

If it seems possible to solve it any other way, any way for Saddam to keep his face, may it be.

I don't bother for the time.

The USA can wipe out Iraq as in summer as in winter.

Now or in a year.

BUT!

We all know there are other interests, hidden interests, and whatever we think they are, Oil or anything: We will not be told.

All we know is: Whatever decision will finally be made, it will be the one that pays (out) most!

So that's capitalism.

AND!

We also know: War always pays good.

There are ALWAYS strong interests in politics FOR war and NOT because of humanity.

It's a neat little instrument even if it's far away, it draws attention away from whatever you want to hide, and it PAYS soo good.

For somebody.

Well, probably it's necessary to have such powers even if you will constantly have to keep them in line but then that's what we have to do.

Population, voters, ARE an interest too, a small one at least.

In Germany this is SchrΓΆders first opportunity (well, the first he takes) to get points again and that will be SOME points if he succeeds.

Otherwise he doesn't have any chance in the next elections. It was 20 000 votes victory last time (in other words: nothing) and he didn't do anything since, so that won't happen again.

I'm not so unhappy with a population to give politicians an interest at least to avoid the war.

And it could be avoided.

Saddam, just as any other politician would not hesitate giving in if it PAYED for him.

Hell, that's enough for the jokes dept. ! ;)

You know the link I posted before was really funny, well in german at least... :D πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ„ :D

What's this? A doctored photo. Absolutely bogus. Just like the half dozen or so similar photos of Clinton when he was in office.

Photo manips are just too easy to do these days. Don't be fooled into believing that someone doesn't have an ulterior motive.

Saddamit!

Iraq needs to have a regime change.

So Damned Insane will never stop his idiotic behavior unless somebody goes in and takes him out.

I guess that "somebody" means America.

It is too bad, though.

It does not matter what happens now.

We will have war and Saddam will go out this time. Or, we will not have war and Saddam will go out this time.

If I were him I would take my money and my 72 virgins and retreat to the Caribbean to see how many of them that I could get knocked-up before next year.

But I guess that takes a lot of balls... πŸ˜„

So much bullshit, but on the other hand, the bastard needs to die by the sword that he has lived by for so long. Unless of course, he learns to make love and not war.

Sure that might happen. ;) And...MONKEYS might fly out of my ass.

Gus, it is too bad that we are not running things...

Let me re-phrase that. It is too bad that YOU are not running things, because I would probably do the same thing that George W. is doing.

That mother-fucker Saddam needs to die.
