Hello everyone. This is a quick post just to let anyone who is interested know of my two experiences dealing with

'healthworldpharmacy.com'. Back in December a few people were wondering how reliable they were. From my two experiences, they are NOT very reliable at all. I placed my first order (with them) for Androcur with them on Dec. 28. Seven days later I looked the order number up on their website and got the message which said the order was delayed becasue they were waiting for a new shipment estimate to arrive Jan. 3. I thought I had ordered in plenty of time but once again had to place an order with 'inhousepharmacy' for an order at a much higher cost.

I will say that 'inhousepharmacy.com' is EXTREMELY reliable but you pay for that. So far all of my orders with them have arrived within 7-8 days and that is counting weekends as days.

Ok, back to 'healthworldpharmacy.' I will mentioned that after I cancelled the order with 'healthworld' they DID cancel the charge to my credit card with no hassles. I had planned on being surgically castrated this month otherwise I would have let the order stand. That isn't going to happen this month however so I wound up having to place another order for Androcur. I placed another order with 'healthworld...' in what SHOULD have been plenty of time. I placed the order on Jan.22. I checked the status of the order daily. On Jan. 25 it stated that the order "had been dispatched." Great I thought. However, on Jan. 28th the message read, "Error. Witing for stock est. 5 Feb. 2003." The right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing.

For three days it had been dispatched, then suddenly it hadn't.

ANOTHER order from 'inhousepharmacy.com'. FYI, I ordered from 'inhouse' on Sunday morning and had an order received and an order shipped confirmation by Sunday afternoon.

I'm leaving the order with 'healthworld...' open so I don't have to run into this situation once again. HOPEFULLY this will be the last Androcur I need to order. I'd really like to be surgically castrated before spring when I get extremely busy. My wife and I were planning on Feb. 20, the day after my 40th birthday but things just aren't working out schedule wise. (Self emloyed and sometimes it's hard to get away.......)

There you have it. From my two experiences so far, 'healthworldpharmacy.com' has NOT been reliable at all. I guess the best thing to do is to place another order the day an order arrives, keep that process going, and you might get your medicines on time.

Do you have any update on your order?

It is much cheaper then what I pay now.

Bobbie. Yes, I have an update. The order is now listed as shipped on Feb. 7th. I will let you and anyone else who is interested know when it arrives. It is much cheaper than many other places, that's for sure.

sorry to hear you're having probs with them. i used them late last year and found their turnaround wonderful as well as their pricing. i wouldn't kill them off yet as maybe they are having shipment problems.

Thanks Joe. I haven't given up on them....YET. It's now been over 30 days however since I placed the order and 15 days since the order was supposedly shipped and it wasn't in the mail box today. I suppose that when/IF the order arrives, a person should place another order right away to be sure that it arrives before running out. I'll let everyone here know when the order arrives. Hello once again to Joe, Bobbie and anyone else who is interested in this. Well, I told everyone that I would let them know when my order from 'healthworldpharmacy.com' arrived. It arrived today, 2/26/03. That's well over 30 days from when I placed the order on 1/22/03 but it did arrive. It came registered mail from Thailand.

One thing that bothered me and maybe someone else on the this website can help. The Androcur came in a small bottle. That's a first for me. All the other orders have came in a box with 5 sheets each containing 10 tablets. From all of the web-sites that I have visited, I have only seen pictures of Androcur being packaged in a box. Hearing stories of boot-legging medicine over the Internet and some companies sending out placebos this raised my attention. I went to Schering's web-site to try to find out but didn't really find anything. I decided to send them a note and asked if Androcur came in bottles and I also asked if 'healthworldpharmcay.com' was a legitimate supplier. I just sent them and e-mail 10 minutes ago so I obviously haven't heard back yet but I will let everyone know when/if they reply and what their answer is.

The LOT numbers on the bottle appeared to be legitimate and just about matched the LOT numbers on a box of Androcur I have here and the tablets look exactly the same so it's probably the real thing but being somewhat suspicious I thought I'd make a post and ask people here and also ask Schering themselves. I guess I figure you can't be too careful in this day and age.
