Update to the Story -- Eunuch in Love

So... where have I been for the last several months since my last posts (I know, some of you are asking "who cares?")?
The answer is I've been in love, and as a direct result of the events of last June and their coverage in the EA. Not long after the postings here, I received an email from a man, and our corespondence lasted all summer. Then when he suggested I visti over Labor Day I accepted. If there's such a thing as love at first sight, we both experienced it.
During the long weekend my Mom died, and when I was talking to my new friend from home, he suggested I visit again after her memorial service. It was during that week our friendship truly deepened into love.
Since that time, I've been back to visit him four times (including Thanksgiving week and the week after Christmas), and he has been here once. I've bought a new house which I'm working to have made accessible for him (he's in a wheelchair), and we're making plans to live together as soon as possible this year. We also talk every night, which doesn't leave much time for the net anymore...
Funny how that works, since one of my reasons for being castrated last year was my inability to find a partner, and the castration itself allowed me to find one.
Now as for the effects of the castration:
I have lost my sex drive (horniness), but find I still enjoy giving my partner pleasure. I also enjoy when he gives me pleasure. I can still have an orgasm, but it takes longer than previously, and feels completely different -- more of a "full-body" feeling than something that's centered in my penis. Really quite satisfying. My semen is clear, and there's not much of it, but that doesn't really bother me.
I haven't had much in the way of hot flashes. There was one really bad one last September, but other than that they've been minor.
Now... would I do it over again? Considering the outcome, I think the answer has to be yes. In the end, I achieved my immediate objective as well as one I had given up on.
