Another Kortpeel story! Another masterpiece!

There is never a word out of place in one of his stories. The plots are invariably inventive and the characters "real." While all of them include castration somewhere in the plot, nearly every story he's submitted here could (and should) be submitted for mainstream publication as well. These are great pieces of short fiction; better than most of what shows up in print.

I like the way that this one leaves the reader hanging. We get to imagine what comes next....
