Good (slightly political) news for LGBT+ vets...

My GF found this, thought it would be worth spreading the news...

Apparently Biden has issued a pardon for any former military people convicted of an LGBTQ+ based 'sexual crime' during the time before "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"... People eligible will need to apply, and the linked news blurb didn't give details about the process and so on. I also don't know if this would cover anyone that didn't get 'convicted of a crime' as such but got kicked out with a 'less than honorable' discharge...

I will refrain from expressing a detailed opinion about Sleepy Joe in general, but will give him credit for the RARE times he gets it right...

Unfortunately, certain folks will take this as political, and we prohibit political posts here. This is another case where if you have to put a disclaimer on it, you may wish to think out if it should be posted.

This is especially true since you used a derogatory remark to refer to the present President of the US, thereby making this a political post.

You make many good contributions to the site, but on this point, the thread is closed as it violates the EA's no politics policy.
