Erectile disfunction due to missing testosterone: Work arounds/Long time experiences

Hi,

I searched a litte but did not find what I was looking for.

My subject is which methods are possible to achieve erections under low testosterone, e.g. due to chem. castration for prostate cancer reasons.

I've found those penile injections. Are those also possible in the long term? Any experiences?

Long time experiences with any other methods (as long as no testo is involved)?

How often do you apply? And what about penis shrinkage under those methods soft and hard?

Best regards

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

A non-trivial part of the issue is mechanical (the tissues need to keep stretched), so mechanical help is not a bad idea. You can buy penis pumps from most sex shops/suppliers. They pull a partial vacuum / low air pressure inside a tube that encourages blood to flow into an erection. There has to be a decent seal round the base, so kits often have a few sizes of seal that you penetrate.

Wishing you well :]

I have tried viagra like substances. I can't speak for others, but for me it helped to achieve much stronger erection. But, for the beginning any type of erection is needed and without attention viagra assisted erection tends to fade quickly, like any other eunuch erection.

And mentally it felt like "why is my penis hard?" As there was too little arousal for such an erection.

Thanks Magusk and Erik,

so far I understand no real positive long time experience with whichever method.

So better to forget about penis based penetrating sex when beeing without T.

Best regards

Andreas

Viagra helped, but often too short lived and insufficient hardness for penetration. And if you do not wish shrinkage, yes, penis pump is probably a good idea, but I do not have first hand experience with it.

Additionally, if you are low in testosterone, work with your doctor about any way to prevent osteoporosis.

With or without testosterone replacement therapy I can’t get an erection.

Tried various ED prescriptions with no success.

Penis pump helps to provide blood flow and improves size afterwards but no help with erections

Since I have no need for erection, except it would be nice to have one against and be able to masturbate and have a good orgasm, the lack of getting any is purely just a frustration that I will have to with forever.
