There”s a huge thread here on this topic by many eventual eunuch contributors that you can read through to learn their personal experiences and decide what you want to do.

It is worth pointing out that in the past, a lot of the motivation for injecting alcohol and other chemicals into the testicles was to cause enough damage to convince a doctor to think they needed to come out... This was because there was not a readily available method of getting them taken out voluntarily, so it was necessary for a person seeking castration to 'fool' the doctors into doing a procedure they would otherwise refuse to do.

Now, with the SOC v8 release, there is a defined process that should allow a person to get castrated voluntarily without needing to do medically risky things like injections. Unfortunately not all places are following the SOC v8 guidelines for reasons that have been much discussed elsewhere, but IMHO one should at least attempt trying to follow the v8 path before attempting DIY methods... (I can say from personal experience that the process is slow, but it works...)
