Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride

I've known that I've been attracted to other boys and men as far back as I could remember and needless to say I couldn't explain these feelings. Then, when I was about six and being babysat by my uncle, I saw something on TV that really helped me understand who and what I was. This may seem silly but it was the South Park episode Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride.
Stan's dog Sparky runs away from home because he's gay and has been rejected my Stan. Stan goes looking for Sparky and in the process he meets Big Gay Al. Big Gay Al takes Stan on his Big Gay Boat Ride which is pretty much like the Disneyland dark ride Pirate's of the Caribbean except that it's, well, Gay. Stan comes to understand that although there are "haters" in the world and people who don't understand it's OK to be gay. Stan then helps other people reunite with their lost gay pets.
At age six this was just what I needed to see.
