Eunuch or diabetic

I was wondering if being a eunuch on HRT is less traumatic on the body than being a diabetic. I think it maybe less traumatic as there are less needles, less blood tests and if a eunuch miss a couple of needles ( for whatever reason) they may feel tired and perhaps hot flushes but if a diabetic who misses a couple of needles, could easily become hypoglycaemic, end up in a coma or even die.

Because some men choose to become eunuchs, they shouldn’t be ostracised by by society just as people who are diabetic two, aren’t ostracised ( they usually become diabetics because they eat the wrong food and don’t exercise).

There is reportedly some evidence of a link between diabetes and low-T (from any cause, including castration) but it is not at all clear if it is causal or coincidental, and / or what the mechanism might be... It may be a question that the weight gain often associated w/ low T can contribute to diabetes (a known link) and / or that the circulation issues that are known to cause problems for diabetics impact the T producers... In other words it is not at all clear if or what the link is...

Not exactly what you were asking but relevant...

I agree about not getting ostracized, but I think some of the question also comes down to how 'in your face' a person is... I've known many folks that are diabetic, and none of them run around w/ big signs saying so, it just comes up in context of dietary needs or other similar stuff... I don't think it is anyone's business what you have (or not) in your knickers except for romantic partners and medical caregivers - so no need to tell them... What people don't know, they can't ostracize you over...
