I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I have been on a low dose of Spironolactone for 3 months. My T has dropped from 950 to 450 , but in the same time my PSA has risen from 3.2 to 9.6. I have been told to stop the Spironolactone for a couple of weeks to see if it drops. I am high risk for CoP. I had a full check over by a urologist with CT scans right before starting Spironolactone, and everything looked ok, T2 low risk of any cancer being present. Had a PSA blood draw this morning, and a urologist appointment Monday, but just hoping it has dropped and it's just a side effect of the Spironolactone.
Funny how quickly things return. Not had an erection for just over a month, but within 4 days of stopping getting erections so hard that they wake me up during the night, and always have a morning erection!

Re: Spironolactone and PSA
I got another PSA test yesterday and after being off Spironolactone for 2 weeks, it's back down to 3.4ng/DL. So I guess that shows, in my case at least, Spironolactone definitely pushes up my PSA.

Re: Spironolactone and PSA
I take this drug as a regularly scheduled prescription. I still get erections, and handle them with care...
