As I've said before, if you're not reading this one, you SHOULD be. Go read it now. You won't be sorry!

Androboy,

When a serial such as HPkok comes to and end, I start to get depressed - and then you come along with an episode of another of my favourite stories. Best anti-depression medicine there is.

I haven't read part 9 yet - I don't need to. Because I know that it will be excellent.

Forgive me for struggling here, I made a post about the last episode of HPkok immediately before this one and the comments I made there about Paolo also hold true for you. I don't like repeating myself (not much) so I am afraid that you will have to wait until the last episode before I really go to town. By then, I hope I will have found a new way to say the same thing.

Many thanks for brightening a very dull Sunday.

Another Great chapter David

( I bet your finding this one hard to end, at least I hope you are πŸ˜„ )

Just one technical mistake and I only mention this for future reference.

If someone were to be branded in the fashion you discribed, it would have healed as one big blob of scare. Branding human skin requires a more delicate touch. Massive heat will burn all the surrounding area and that includes the area in between the lines that form the letters. Also the amount of time the skin is in contact with the heat is very slight anything else will burn to deep.

But this is just technical garbarge, as I always love your stories

;) :)

Keep up the good work

Rob

hi rob,

you're absolutely right, of course. but -- it just didn't seem as exciting and dramatic, so i took a very large dose of dramatic license and made the scene more intense. i just didn't figure anyone would catch it -- oops :) oh well, i guessed wrong -- guess you know know why i haven't won the powerball lottery -- YET. ;)

glad you are enjoying the story anyway.

david

Keep up the good work

Rob

Androboy,

Please let me throw in my praise here as well. It's an awesome series and part 9 is great.

We're lucky to have you writing here ... it's professional quality stuff.

There's no doubt that you, Paolo, and Charlie could write professionally given the opportunity. Any major publishing companies out there reading the Archive? πŸ“– ❀️

I have to admit, you got me hooked too Androboy.

As I stated earlier I have a real problem with the concept of slavery - ANY slavery. But this story justifies it, at least for me. It is truly a GREAT fantasy, and there are parts of it that make me think it is really too bad it is fantasy. But no matter what one might think of the concept, there's absolutely no denying that this is a great story!
